About Us

You have an inventory problem...which brings you to us.

Why are we here?

For starters, we like inventory. We like to analyze it, count it, sort it, organize it. We like to interpret and create process maps; helping businesses visualize value and the flow that transforms it. We like to find and solve its' problems. We understand its' value.

Inventory isn’t in a silo unless its grain. It is all around. Finance, Operations, Maintenance, Warehousing, Logistics and HR all interact with it. Everyone sees it differently. We have been there, across disciplines, cataloging our own learnings for our client’s inventory journey.

What can we do?

We bring an enterprise mindset to inventory because it is everywhere. (Sometimes literally, we can help with that too). Whether it’s a small project relocating some shelves or a massive project organizing and synchronizing a warehouse with a WMS/ERP system. Our team can look at a seemingly narrow inventory problem through our multi-disciplined lens ensuring the impacts of our work are communicated beyond the perceived walls of the project. We ensure what we do is aligned both horizontally and vertically to increase the sustainability and effectiveness of the solution.

What makes us different?

Our approach is for our clients to start engaging with the team performing the work from the start. We believe the practitioners executing the strategy are the best resources to provide our clients with a realistic perspective. We love a good challenge, but we are going to be honest if something is beyond our scope and capabilities. This is in both your best interest and ours. We don't like failure and don't think you do either.

In the End

We are not going to be the right fit for everyone, it is just not possible, statistically either. We are the right fit for organizations seeking to improve their inventory program with methodical tailored solutions that consider the nuances which embody their organization.

Whether you are trying to optimize your inventory, increase your operational efficiency and effectiveness, reduce emergency buys, improve your capacity, integrate an acquisition, or cycle count your inventory, reach out. We can have an honest conversation to see how we can help.

Who we are

Colin McCarty - Co-Founder and CEO

Eneida McCarty - Co-Founder and CFO

Lucy Nguyen - Senior Data Analyst

From her first job at a quick service food restaurant to her time in retail, Lucy knows customer service. Whether it's getting a food order correct or helping employees understand their paycheck, she knows that people’s experience is what they remember most. This led her to pursue her M.A. in Human Resources (HR). HR has always been people centric, but the inclusion and interpretation of data has changed the field. This paradigm shift led Lucy to Catila Studios to pursue a new challenge working with data in alignment with her client relations foundation. She enjoys doing research, analyzing the information, and interpreting the results to predict the future. In her current role, she helps clients understand and maximize their data and guides them to the best result for decision making.

While Lucy isn’t enjoying her job, she is an avid reader and replicator of her mom’s cooking. She is also passionate about helping people and volunteers her time to non-profits. Sometimes though, she vegges out like broccoli.
